Welcome to General Toshevo Municipality

The municipality of General Toshevo (Генерал Тошево) sits in the northeast corner of Bulgaria between the city of Dobrich (Добрич) and the Romanian border. It is about 70km from the popular Black Sea city of Varna (Варна) and borders the coastal municipalities of Balchik (Балчик), Kavarna (Каварна) and Shabla (Шабла). This site aims to provide support for foreigners who have property in the area and encourage positive relations between visitors and our Bulgarian hosts.

The aim of this Web site is to create a resource for English speakers who live in, or have property in, the General Toshevo area of Bulgaria. It will be officially launched after my next trip to the area in July. I will then open the site to contributions from other people.
